This 12x16 oil painting was done on a prison bed sheet because they wouldn’t let me buy anything else. The oil pigment is standard, but the extra oil for glazes I got form a sewing machine. the colors make the lowlights glow and any attempt at reality is happily forgotten in a sort of glee at learning how garish pinks and purples can still work in a figure.
